Greg Brady

Operations Manager
Mornings, Z103 Morning Show
Co-Host " Morning Talk Magazine " - KBRF
I've been in Fergus Falls with Lakes Radio since 2000, before that I've worked in The Fargo and Detroit Lakes markets.   I'm originally from the East coast but have pretty much been accepted into the Sensible Midwestern Lifestyle.
I am a functioning workaholic, and can usually be found at our studios, or helping engineers resolve some technical difficulty at 2am, or at a live action remote broadcast soaking up some local community flavor.

Z103.3 fm is one of my favorite things about Lakes Radio, and I am a fan of all of the artists we play on "The Heart Of Rock".  I also play guitar in my spare (ha!) time.

Co-hosting the Morning Talk Magazine with Mary Dolan & Brian Andrews helps me feed my news habit, and keep plugged in to the community.

Favorites:
Candy:  Circus peanuts
Drink:   Root Beer
Buffet:  Hunan
Band:   Grateful Dead

Mary Dolan

I have been with Lakes radio since may of 1982. That was my start in the radio business and now it's "in my blood!"  I actually answered an ad on the radio for a copywriter.  For some reason, they hired me and I began working my way through the ranks!  While seated at my typewriter ( I know, that dates me!) the manager came to me and said, "Today's the day.you're going on the air!"  He took me in the studio and told me to "start pushing buttons until I figured it out!"  True story: baptism by fire!  I've been enjoying my career in radio ever since!

Our morning talk show, "Morning Talk Magazine," is as much fun as I've ever had in the business.  It's a pleasure to work with Greg Brady and Brian Andrews and be the token girl on the show!  Everyday, they make me laugh until I have to re-apply my make up! I've always said if laughter were aerobic exercise, I'd be a stick!

My midday shift on Z103 is a fun part of what I do, too!  I love the music, and it sure doesn't feel like work! (Hope the general manager doesn't take away my paycheck, though!)

My passion outside of radio is a new grandbaby, Griffin , who I adore and spoil at every opportunity!  Other loves include living half the year at Lake Lida .my favorite place in the whole world!

I hope they let old people work in radio.because I intend to keep at it for a long time!

Jeff Swedberg AKA "Sweds"

I grew up not far from Fergus Falls in Grand Forks , North Dakota and got my radio education at Brown Institute in Minneapolis , MN . I got my first job in radio in Sidney Montana in 1986 working as both disc jockey and news director. After sowing my wild oats in Las Vegas for a few months I then made career stops in Brainerd , MN in 1988, Cambridge , MN in 1989, Forest Lake , MN in 1990, and Detroit Lakes , MN in 1995 all before settling in the community of Fergus Falls , MN for the last 13 years.

I have done just about everything you can do in the radio business from News, Sports, and Announcing to producing award winning production, programming two stations at Lakes Radio, and producing hundreds of Sports broadcasts per year. My wife Brenda and two kids, Katie and Brett are happy to be a part of this community. Brenda grew up in a farm family just down the road in Barrett , MN so this is like home for all of us. I am very proud of both my kids as they are highly involved in the community in sports and the church. I couldn't have hoped for a better place to live and work.

I love country music. It simply has the best fans and the best stars and working on the KJ Country Club with Elly for the past two years has been a dream. She makes the show tick with her sense of humor and uplifting charm. It gives me a reason to come to work every day and I hope a reason for you to listen every morning. I also am the Afternoon Drive announcer on Z103 "The Heart of Rock"

I am also the Sports Director at Lakes Radio. I produce over 250 sports game broadcast per year and announce over 80 per season. I have been involved with both the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comet football team and the Fergus Falls Otters Hockey team the most. I still can't believe that they pay me to attend sporting events. There couldn't be a more perfect job.

Chuck Aamot

I graduated from Bemidji State in 1987 and became an intern, then part-time weekend announcer and eventually full- time announcer and music director for 1250 KBRF.  I have since become the Production Director and have held that position for several years...plus I do some broadcasting, mainly Saturday mornings on 1250 KBRF.  I grew up in Wendell, so it's great to be on the air in an area that I know so well.
